In Taberna is Ben’s early onset mid-life crisis brainchild. After figuring out that he liked cooking and being funny more than he did his office job, he left his job and started making videos. Ben currently plays “The Human” (the character who gets bossed around) and the “Disembodied Voice” (the one doing the bossing around) on the channel. However, don’t tell anyone that he plays both characters - it’s supposed to be this funny “weird man, straight man” thing. He also writes, shoots and edits all the videos himself, albeit with tonnes of help from his lovely and supportive wife.
